Welcome to the Irvine Evergreen Chinese Senior Association 

Founded in 1989, the Irvine Evergreen Chinese Senior Association (IECSA) is a vibrant, non-political, and non-religious organization dedicated to fostering community, friendship, and a higher quality of life for Chinese seniors in Irvine and surrounding areas. For over three decades, we have proudly served as a hub for meaningful connections, cultural enrichment, and support for our senior residents.

 Join Our Growing Community  

If you are 55 years or older and reside in Irvine or nearby communities, we invite you to become part of our growing family. Membership is just $40 annually and may be adjusted to meet the needs of our members. We offer a range of engaging programs designed to promote health, happiness, and lifelong learning.

 Engaging Programs & Activities   

We gather on the third Saturday of each month from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Lakeview Senior Center, located at 20 Lake Road, Irvine, CA 92604. Our programs and activities include:

- Educational lectures and seminars  

- Social services consultations with experienced volunteers  

- Fun and entertainment: dancing, singing, sports, and traditional Chinese exercises  

- Cultural celebrations, including Chinese New Year festivities  

- Riddles, games with prizes, and exciting raffles  

- Showcases of Chinese art, calligraphy, and cultural heritage  

- Monthly birthday celebrations and delicious boxed luncheons

Our Achievements   

We are proud of our legacy of service and community impact, recognized by numerous awards:

- Multiple Outstanding Civic Recognition Awards from the City of Irvine (since 1991)  

- Outstanding Civic Recognition Award from the California State Council in 1992  

- Outstanding Civic Recognition Award from the Los Angeles City Council in 1992
